Our Mission
The Hydrangea Project is committed to revitalizing the Old Louisville neighborhood by enhancing the beauty and sustainability of our historic streets and parks. Through the planting of hydrangeas, community-driven street cleanups, and dedicated property maintenance, we strive to foster a vibrant, engaged community that honors our heritage while ensuring a stable and flourishing environment for future generations.
Our Vision
Transform Old Louisville into a vibrant, colorful neighborhood where blooming hydrangeas symbolize unity, pride, and shared care for the community. Through resident-led hydrangea planting initiatives at every street corner—coupled with consistent building maintenance, regular street cleanups, and safety-focused design with security implementations—we foster community beautification and create daily opportunities for connection, beautification, and a stronger sense of safety and belonging in the revitalization of Old Louisville.
